Roots-Finding Trip 2026

Application Starting from February 2, 2026
●Online applications will be available starting at 9:00 AM (Taiwan Time) on February 2nd, 2026. Please refer to Cathwel’s website for further announcements: http://www.cs.org.tw 
●The online application process includes completing the registration form, uploading the required docments and responding to the questionnaire for roots-finding within two weeks. Applications that fail to meet the deadline will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.
●Before applying, please carefully assess whether your physical and mental condition is suitable for participating in group-based activities. These include shared accommodations, a tightly scheduled group itinerary, and close interpersonal interactions. If you may find these conditions difficult to accept or adapt to, we recommend considering an individual program instead.

Acceptance Quota
●Limited to 10 participants, with 3 stand-bys.
●Cathwel reserves the right to make the final decision on acceptance.

Applicant Requirements
●Has to be an adoptee from Cathwel Service
●Between the age of 18-25
●Adoptees who have never returned to Taiwan for reunion will take priority. 

About Event
●The trip will take place within July-August, 2026.
●Event includes a cultural fieldtrip around Taiwan, volunteer work at Jonah House and reunion.
●Cathwel Service provides accommodation and board. Participants are responsible for the airfare and personal expenses.
●Airport transportation can be arranged.
●Anyone who wishes to find his/her birth family, please specify in the application form.
