Lumen- December 2020

Greetings from Cathwel

Yenchi Ting

It is a year full of crises as well as the salvation of God in 2020! I would specially thank to friends who are so generous to support us during the epidemic, and our social workers and caregivers who have worked selflessly for our children. Thank God's love for not leaving us!
Gratefully, we are not alienated due to social distancing. Instead, we cherish the safety and presence at this moment in Taiwan. There were still 25 families from different countries who endured up to 21 days of quarantine and self-health monitoring, personally came to Taiwan to pick up our children waiting for adoption. In August, our Juveniles safely completed the bicycle round Taiwan island. In October, we successfully held a gathering for domestic adoptive families. There were 16 families spending happy time!
During this special year, we lost several beloved ones. Thank them for their testimony of life and the gift of love they left us. We will meet again in heaven in the future!
In the new year, Sr. Rosa and I pray that the pandemic will gradually calm down.
I wish you a safe and secure New Year in 2021!

News of Roots-Finding Trip 2021
The Roots-Finding Trip for the year of 2021 is canceled due to the worldwide COVID-19 epidemic. Currently, Cathwel keeps providing searching for the families or individuals in need although it is difficult to have reunions. We wish everything returns normal soon and look forward to holding the next trip in the year of 2022, God willing.
